Congratulations to DAISY Award Winner Debra Fritts

The DAISY Award honors and recognizes nurses who go above and beyond in providing exceptional care and compassion to their patients. Debra Fritts, an RN at our Cancer Center, helped advocate for a patient and get them answers in a time when every moment mattered.

“After completing my radiation and chemo back in the first part of July, it was several weeks before anything else was being done. I spoke with Fritts, she went to bat for me and got things moving,” the patient wrote in their nomination. “She is the most caring, knowledgeable and absolutely one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure to be associated with. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award than her.”

Notably, this is Debra’s second DAISY Award which clearly exemplifies her dedication to go above and beyond for patients.
