The DAISY Award honors and recognizes nurses who go above and beyond in providing exceptional care and compassion to their patients. Rachel Luthi, an APRN at our Weight Management Center in Topeka, made a profound difference in the life of a patient on their weight loss journey.

“From our first interaction, Rachel made me feel safe, listened to, and cared for. She didn’t just address my weight—she helped me understand the root cause of my binge eating and provided the vocabulary I needed to articulate my struggles,” the patient stated in their nomination. “Thanks to Rachel, I have not only made progress in my weight loss journey but have also improved my mental health.
