Family Medicine Physician, Jocelyn Mattoon, M.D., joins Stormont Vail Health

Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that Jocelyn Mattoon, M.D., is joining our team to practice as a family medicine physician, located at Cotton O’Neil Manhattan, 1133 College Ave., Manhattan, Kan., 66502.

Dr. Mattoon is excited to return to her home in the Flint Hills to practice medicine.

“I’ve heard nothing put positive things about Stormont Vail Health,” Dr. Mattoon said. “I’m excited to join this organization and start helping patients.”

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Mattoon is dedicated to treating the whole patient. She gets to know her patients on a personal level and understands them as a person. This ensures she can provide the highest quality care possible.

“I try to always be honest with my patients,” Dr. Mattoon said. “I want to provide my patients with as much time and attention as I can.

Dr. Mattoon is looking forward to serving the Stormont Vail community in a variety of ways, while especially working with kids, women’s health, LGBTQ care, Medication Assisted Treatment, and behavioral health.

Dr. Jocelyn Mattoon graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology. She later went on to receive a Master’s of Science in Counseling and Student Development at Kansas State University. After that, she received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine, Wichita, Kan. Dr. Mattoon finished her IU Health Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency (Muncie, Ind.) on June 30, 2021.
