We are honored to announce that both Raegan Cowsert, RN, and Kaitlyn Brickei, RN and Charge Nurse, were recipients of the May 2022 Person of the Month Award. Due to the immense portrayal of empathy and compassion, these two women worked together to make the impossible possible for one of their patients.

“My Angel was RN Reagan Cowsert at Stormont. Because of Reagan, I was able to tell my sweet Joe how much he meant to me. I was able to once more feel the warmth of his hands; the hands that held me for 46 years and provided and comforted me. If Raegan hadn’t made the extra effort to be a difference maker, I can’t imagine. I will forever be grateful for everything she did. Reagan is truly an Angel.”

Kaitlyn Brickei was the team member behind getting this patient to their husband, making numerous calls and having a lot of conversations that lead to this important, lasting moment for the patient.
