Dr. Schierling Named Physician of the Year by Kansas EMS Association
The Kansas Emergency Medical Services Association (KEMSA) has named Dr. Michelle Schierling with our Emergency and Trauma Care Team, as Physician of the Year for 2025! Dr. Schierling, who also serves as the Medical Director for Life Star of Kansas/Global Medical Response will receive her award and be honored at KEMSA’s annual “Honoring Our Own” banquet on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Congratulations, Dr. Schierling!
Sports Physicals Available at Express Care Locations
Sports Physicals are available at our Express Care locations – no appointment needed. Just walk in during clinic hours.
Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All paperwork must be completed prior to checking in with registration and a parent or guardian must be present at the time of the physical.

PBR Brings Rodeo Spirit to Stormont Vail!
Our Pediatric Unit was all smiles on Friday thanks to a special visit from Professional Bull Riders! Riders brought cowboy hats, signed autographs, and shared some rodeo cheer with our young patients. Thanks to the Peds Team for making this visit possible.
