Stormont Vail Health is proud to receive recognition as a Blue Distinction^® Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS)—a designation awarded to facilities that meet high standards for quality, safety, and patient outcomes.

“This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering safe and exceptional care, and providing excellent patient experiences from the first appointment through treatment,” said Mark Slyter, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stormont Vail. “We’re proud to meet the rigorous criteria that define what high-quality joint replacement care should look like.”

Blue Distinction Centers are proven to deliver better results, including 21% fewer readmissions and complications within 90 days of surgery. Patients benefit from advanced practices that support faster recovery and better long-term outcomes.
