Stormont Vail Health OB/GYN – Lincoln Center Welcomes Megan Northup, M.D.

As of Jan. 1, 2025, Dr. Megan Northup, an experienced OB/GYN specializing in pelvic pain, complex obstetrics, and perinatal loss, has joined Stormont Vail OB/GYN – Lincoln Center Urish at 2830 S.W. Urish Rd., in Topeka. She will continue to see patients weekly on Thursdays at Cotton O’Neil OB/GYN Emporia, 1301 W. 12th Ave., in Emporia.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, Dr. Northup is dedicated to ensuring all women have fair and equitable access to care and support. Having navigated her own challenging obstetric journey, which included a stillbirth and multiple miscarriages, she understands the struggles many women face. Her personal experiences allow her to provide compassionate care and support, helping families through their grief while addressing their medical needs.

“I want to make sure women are taken care of, have equitable access to care, and maybe even address some of the underlying issues affecting their care as well,” Dr. Northup said. “I’m going to be your partner in care. I want you to feel heard and respected, and I will work with you to navigate life’s challenges.”

Dr. Northup obtained her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then joined the Navy, where she completed her internship and specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Northup is currently accepting new patients. Get to know her here or call (785) 273-4010 to schedule an appointment.
