United Way 211 – Dial 211 from any phone to speak with a referral specialist 24 hours a day about COVID-19 or any other service needs you may have. Available in English and Spanish.

CapFed Community Care Station

CapFed Community Care Station provides rent, utility and basic needs assistance to Shawnee-County area residents. The program is designed to help lower-income households and households that experienced job loss or significant income loss due to the COVID-19. Stormont Vail Behavioral Health

Shawnee County Community Cares Line

Whether you are feeling isolated or just need someone to talk to, Shawnee County Community Cares Line are here for you. If you are in need of a listening ear, call 1-800-979-8199 (hours are Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All calls are answered by community volunteers).

Professional Support Assistance Line

The Stormont Vail Behavioral Health Center has created a support service for health care workers in our region to get quick and easy access to the mental health services you may need during this critical time. We offer in-person or various telehealth methods, including virtual visits. This service is not meant to replace, but rather supplement Employee Assistance Programs and other similar benefits. Call (785) 270-4646 and use the key phrase “PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE.”

Parent Helpline

KCSL’s Parent Helpline 1-800-CHILDREN is a free, statewide, anonymous, information and referral service. It provides a trained person on the other end who will listen, empathize with your situation and offer support. There’s no question too small or problem too big. The Helpline is available 24/7 in English and Spanish and can refer you to services anywhere in Kansas. Call the Parent Helpline 1-800-CHILDREN whenever you have a question or feel frustrated, upset or confused.
