We Celebrate DAISY Award Winner Cornelia Campbell

Nurses go above and beyond daily to provide patients and families with excellent care. For Cornelia Campbell, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, at our Express Care clinic in Topeka, putting patients and families at ease happens daily. For this reason, we celebrate Cornelia for receiving the DAISY Award!

The DAISY Award celebrates and recognizes nurses who go the extra mile as a way to thank them for the care and compassion they provide. Cornelia, who has provided exceptional care at Stormont Vail since 2023, received a nomination from a patient’s mother she cared for at one of our Express Care clinics.

“She was so smart, patient, and caring, and even though there were quite a few patients there that evening, she never made us feel rushed,” the patient’s mother wrote in Cornelia’s nomination. “She has a big heart, and her care meant so much to us. You can tell this is more than a job to her; she genuinely wants the patient to feel comfortable. When we walked out to our car, my son said, ‘That was kind of fun. That doctor was so nice, Mom!’ And to me, that means so much!”

Cornelia, congratulations on winning the DAISY Award! Your ability to connect with and comfort patients of all ages highlights your passion for caring for your community. Thank you for your commitment to our patients and their families.
