We Celebrate DAISY Award Winner Courtny Fateley

Nominated by three times in the last year.

“I want Courtny to get this award because she was such a compassionate and caring nurse. Courtny took the time to get to know me and understand what I needed while I was in the Hospital. Courtny was kind, caring and gentle, she took the time to listen to me and my concerns and did what she could to make my stay in the hospital as painless as she could. She apologized for other people’s errors and tried to make things better by fixing them and not ignore me or my concerns. Courtny has what it takes to be a nurse and so much more. That is what makes her extraordinary and so deserving of the DAISY Award. If she was not my nurse after surgery the experience I had, it would have been less pleasurable than it was.  It is because of the amazing care and supportive attitude that Courtny gave me that I am able to push myself, because I know someone cares about me, my health, and my feelings.

Thank you Courtny! You are amazing, you are the best, you are perfect, you deserve the DAISY more than anyone else.

I want to thank Courtny for coming in to help me even though I was not her patient and still treated me like I was her patient. She was calm, kind and generous. She took time to provide education even though I was not her patient, but she did and that makes her extraordinary. I am glad Stormont has such a wonderful and great nurse on their team to provide such excellent care to our community. Thank you for your amazing care! Courtny, you deserve all the recognition you can get.

Courtny admitted me to the Hospital after I fell. She was a wonderful nurse to see when come to the hospital after a scary night. Courtny took excellent care of me and made me feel welcomed and safe. Thank you for being a wonderful nurse!
