We Support the Unhoused at our 2023 Warm and Thankful Celebration

A little light goes a long way to make dark days brighter. Generosity and support do even more.

Our Warm and Thankful Celebration is an annual collaboration between Stormont Vail Health Cultural Ambassadors and Topeka Rescue Mission. This event aims to brighten the dark winter days while supporting our community’s homeless and unsheltered population during the holidays.

Join us for our yearly tradition as we turn on the hospital’s holiday lights and present donations to Topeka Rescue Mission in the spirit of giving and cheer.

  • When: Tuesday, Nov. 28
  • Time: 5:30 p.m.
  • Where: Stormont Vail Health Topeka Campus Hospital, North Tower Lobby Entrance

Contribute to Our Community and a Good Cause

Starting Saturday, Nov. 11, we place a donation bin near the elevators inside the main lobby of the Topeka Campus Hospital. We encourage team members, patients, and visitors to drop off essential items, including:

  • Baby food and formula
  • New or gently used winter clothes and sleeping bags
  • Personal care and hygiene items

Our Cultural Ambassadors will give these contributions to representatives from the Topeka Rescue Mission for distribution.

Thank you for your support! We hope to see you at the event.
