We’ve set our heart on bringing leading cardiac care to thousands of people in Eastern Kansas.

The Stormont Vail Health Cardiac and Vascular Center (CVC) provides minimally invasive procedures to treat heart disease. As we increasingly offer these services in an outpatient setting, we have expanded the CVC.

We now offer accessible, innovative treatments in an upgraded setting that supports comfort and recovery:

• Radial Lounge with eight specialty recliners gives patients a comfortable place to relax and see visitors while recovering from uncomplicated procedures.
• Two transesophageal echo (TEE) rooms provide space to perform ultrasound procedures for detecting structural heart issues.
• Five inpatient beds offer a place for patients requiring extended stays following extensive surgical procedures.
• A second electrophysiology bay accommodates the growing procedure volume and supports four new cardiovascular ultrasound bays.
• Two consultation rooms provide a private space for physicians to visit family members and share images of procedures to help them better understand their loved one’s treatment.
