Stormont Vail Health Opens Doors to New Outpatient Behavioral Health Center

Stormont Vail Health is excited to announce the opening of the Stormont Vail Outpatient Behavioral Health Center in Topeka. Located at 2601 S.W. 3rd St., this clinic will provide essential mental health services to children, teens, and adults, including:

  • Individual and group therapy
  • Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and trauma-related disorders

Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, APRNs, nurses, therapists, and social workers, the clinic will provide a safe, welcoming space for patients to receive care.

Leadership Manhattan Class of 2026 Announced

Congratulations to our very own Andrew Brookens, Director of the Stormont Vail Manhattan Campus, for being selected for the Leadership Manhattan Class of 2026! This program is ran by the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, and aims to develop informed, motivated leaders for the Manhattan, KS, area by educating them on local challenges, opportunities, and systems, and train them for civic and professional roles. Twenty individuals were selected for next year’s class.

Stormont Vail Health Awarded Spark Good Grant for Pediatric Speech Therapy

Great news! Stormont Vail Health has received a Spark Good Grant from Walmart Store #2131 in Topeka to enhance Pediatric Speech Therapy services. Learn how this fund will support thriving kids across northeast Kansas.

Stormont Vail Health Emporia Clinic Offers COVID-19 Vaccines for Pediatric Patients

The Stormont Vail Health Emporia Clinic is offering COVID-19 vaccines for pediatric patients. Appointments are available for children who are established patients. Call (620) 343-2900 to schedule your child’s vaccination.

Staying up to date on COVID-19 vaccination is essential for protection against severe illness, hospitalization, and complications such as Long COVID. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the 2025–2026 COVID-19 vaccine for everyone ages six months and older, based on individual decision-making with a healthcare provider. This includes children and adolescents, who benefit from vaccination to reduce the risk of severe disease and help maintain immunity as protection decreases over time.

Stormont Vail Health and Midland Care PACE Partner to Expand Cardiac Care Access for Older Adults

Stormont Vail Health and Midland Care’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) have formed a partnership that expands access to specialized cardiology services for older adults served by Midland Care PACE in the Topeka and Shawnee County area. Under the partnership, Stormont Vail cardiology providers will collaborate with the Midland Care PACE team to conduct consultations and follow-up visits, coordinate medication management, and streamline referrals for advanced diagnostics or procedures when needed.
