Coming Soon: 2025 Stormont Vail Health Nursing Symposium

Join nurses and healthcare professionals for a full day of learning, leadership, and collaboration. Topics will cover maternal health equity, nurse residency innovation, advocacy, and more.

Clinical Trial Participants Wanted

The Cotton O’Neil Clinical Research Center is seeking participants for a clinical trial for patients with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis who have previously failed mesalamine and drug naïve to other target therapies.

This is a head-to-head study, comparing 2 FDA approved treatments, Risankizumab and Vedolizumab. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis for at least three months. The study will last approximately 48 weeks in length. All study procedures will be provided at no cost and participants will be compensated for their time. Nurse Residency Program Manager Amy Mundell discusses Stormont Vail Health’s Nurse Residency program and our recent PTAP Accreditation on Thursday’s “To Your Health” segment that airs at 10 p.m. on WIBW-TV, Channel 13. The segment typically repeats at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Fridays on 13 News This Morning and is posted on wibw.com.
