Stormont Vail Health Opens Applications for 2026 Summer Scrubs Program

Stormont Vail Health is now accepting applications for Summer Scrubs 2026, a weeklong, hands-on program designed to introduce rising high school seniors to real-world careers in healthcare. Students gain immersive experience inside Stormont Vail Hospital as they explore a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles.

Designed to help young people discover what inspires them and make them more confident about their future, Summer Scrubs offers exposure to departments including the Emergency Room, Pharmacy, Surgical Care, Physical Therapy, Laboratory Services, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Clinical Nutrition, Medical Imaging, and the Stormont Vail Simulation Center.

“Stormont Vail is committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals,” said Morgan Ray, Talent Acquisition Partner. “Summer Scrubs allows students to connect their curiosity with meaningful career paths and see firsthand how every role contributes to our community’s health.”

Applications are open now through April 24. Interviews will begin May 11.
