Stormont Vail Health to Hold Annual Celebration of Life

Stormont Vail Health will honor the lasting change that organ, eye, and tissue donation inspires at its annual Celebration of Life at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave. on June 19, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This invitation-only gathering honors the families and donors of Stormont Vail organ donors. It offers space for families to remember and celebrate their loved ones, view heartfelt tributes on the Gift of Life Memorial Wall, and meet local advocates and others who share this personal experience.

“Every story shared at the Celebration of Life highlights the incredible legacy our donors leave behind,” said Jana Tenbrink, RN, Director of Critical Care Services. “We encourage everyone to talk about the importance of organ donation and consider signing up as donors. It’s a choice that can truly save lives.”

Nearly 100,000 people in the United States need a transplant. Learn more or become a donor.
