We Celebrate Hailey Dion, Sunflower Award Winner

Making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives doesn’t always come from dramatic gestures or life-saving care—it often grows from everyday connections, genuine kindness, and helping people feel like they belong.

For Hailey Dion, medical assistant (MA) at our Manhattan Campus Primary Care Clinic, that’s simply who she is. Her warm presence, professionalism, and ability to make every patient feel like a longtime friend create countless positive experiences for the families we serve.

We’re proud to celebrate the impact Hailey makes every day with the Sunflower Award for Extraordinary Nursing Support Staff.

Hailey’s Sunflower Nomination

“Every time myself or my two kids have appointments, we are typically greeted by Hailey. She’s become the highlight of our visits. Even if she’s not assigned to us, she makes a point to come say hello. She’s professional and warm. It’s like chatting with an old friend. She makes my kids laugh. Hailey is amazing with my toddler and helps keep him calm (especially during shots). She listens to all the crazy stories my ten-year-old has with complete attention and interest. “She is an amazing asset to the office, and we are really lucky to have such a caring person who genuinely enjoys our family and cares for our well-being. It is hard to pinpoint a time when she’s extraordinary when she hits the nail on the head every time we see her!”
