Stormont Vail Celebrates 9th Year in Mayo Clinic Care Network
Stormont Vail Health is celebrating its collaboration the Mayo Clinic Care Network today with the ninth annual visit from Mayo Clinic – and this year the celebration showcases our care and team across the region.
Mayo Clinic Care Network sessions are being held at the Flint Hills Campus in Junction City and at the Manhattan Campus. There’s also a special presentation by Mayo Clinic leaders for Kansas State University students about “Preparing Graduates for the Future in Healthcare.”
Stormont Vail is proud to be a part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, which provides our team and patients with additional resources to deliver high quality, safe care.
As part of the network, Stormont Vail physicians can collaborate with Mayo experts through eConsults and through access to the Mayo Clinic’s online repository of disease management information and evidence-based treatment recommendations. By embracing collaboration through technology, Stormont Vail Health and Mayo Clinic are ensuring that patients with complex conditions have access to trusted teamwork and expertise − all while staying close to home, and at no additional cost to the patient. Stormont Vail physicians have completed 258 eConsults so far in 2023.

Stormont Vail Health will be hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, in Centennial Rooms A & D, Pozez Education Center at the Topeka hospital. Book your appointment today, here. Medical eligibility questions? Call 1-800-688-0900.
