Stormont Vail Health’s Topeka and Flint Hills Campuses Named to Forbes’ Inaugural Top Hospitals List

Stormont Vail Health‘s Topeka and Flint Hills campuses have been recognized on Forbes’ inaugural Top Hospitals list, a new national ranking that identifies hospitals delivering exceptional quality, value, and patient-centered care.

Developed by Forbes in collaboration with healthcare analytics firm Inovalon and a panel of healthcare experts, the ranking evaluates hospitals using publicly reported data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Hospitals are assessed across measures that include patient outcomes, best practices, value, and patient experience, with patient outcomes carrying the greatest weight in the overall ratings.

Approximately 5,400 hospitals were initially eligible for consideration, with rankings ultimately recognizing approximately 2,600 hospitals that demonstrated strong performance across key measures of quality and patient care. Forbes created the list to provide consumers with an independent, data-driven resource for evaluating hospital performance.

Stormont Vail’s inclusion on the list underscores the organization’s ongoing commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and delivering outstanding care experiences for patients and families throughout the region.
