Happy 75th Anniversary, Stormont Vail Auxiliary!

Since 1949, the Auxiliary has made our community a better place to call home by supporting Stormont Vail Health’s mission through volunteerism, fundraising, and goodwill.

We welcome you to recognize their contributions at the Auxiliary’s 75th Anniversary celebration on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in ACC 8 at the Topeka Hospital. There will be a social time, a performance from Stormont Vail’s talented chaplains, and presentations about the Auxiliary’s impact.

Your support makes the Auxiliary’s work possible—and doing so is easier than you think. Here are a few ways we can give back the Auxiliary:

Auxiliary members, thank you for nearly a century of partnership and support. We look forward to many more decades as partners and champions for a healthier community.

“Hometown Heroes” Invited to Washburn Volleyball this Thursday

The Washburn University volleyball team will be making its 2024 home debut this Thursday, Oct. 3, at Lee Arena on the Washburn campus. To celebrate this “home” opener, they are inviting all “hometown” heroes to join them for the match. Active and retired military personnel, as well as all police, fire, EMS, and healthcare workers, can enjoy free admission by presenting an employee or military ID at the ticket window.

All hometown heroes in attendance will be recognized during a special presentation between sets 1 and 2. They will be honored for their valuable contributions to the Topeka community and service to our country. Stormont Vail team members are invited to Washburn Volleyball’s Hometown Appreciation Match, featuring a conference matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas. The game begins at 6 p.m.

We together,

Dr. Kenagy
