Pathways to Healthcare Careers
Stormont Vail and the Topeka Center for Advanced Learning and Careers (TCALC) offer healthcare career pathways that prepare young adults for the workforce. These programs promote social and economic mobility by introducing students to rewarding careers in healthcare. Patient Care Technician Program
Interested in a healthcare career while still in high school?
Our year-long Patient Care Technician (PCT) program—an expanded version of the CNA program—offers hands-on training in patient care, phlebotomy, and clinical skills.
Students earn certifications, complete hospital rotations, and receive mentorship from Stormont Vail professionals.
Phlebotomy Healthcare Pathway
This pathway provides more than 120 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, preparing students for the American Medical Technologists Registered Phlebotomy Technician Certification.
