Dr. Tarek Alsibai Joins Stormont Vail Health Hospitalist Team

Stormont Vail Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Tarek Alsibai, M.D., an internal medicine physician specializing in hospitalist medicine. As a nocturnist, he will care for a wide range of concerns for nighttime patients at Stormont Vail Hospital, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave., Topeka.

Dr. Alsibai earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Alfaisal University College of Medicine in Saudi Arabia. He then moved to the United States to complete his internal medicine residency at Corewell Health—Grand Rapids/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During his first year of training, Dr. Alsibai found his passion for hospital medicine.

“When patients come to the hospital, they are often acutely ill and worried about their health,” Dr. Alsibai said. “My goal is to ease their fears and ensure they receive safe discharge planning.”

Dr. Alsibai highlights the importance of making patients feel comfortable and valued by building trust from their very first meeting. He views his role as an opportunity to support individuals as they recover from serious illnesses and guide them safely back to their homes or other care settings.

Stormont Vail looks forward to collaborating with Dr. Alsibai. His expertise and dedication will ensure that patients receive the best possible care day and night.
